My paternal grandmother, my Nona, is the daughter of Estreya Ergas and Avram Sarfatty. Avram Sarfatty is the son of Joseph Isaac Sarfatty and Clara Ergas. As you can see, I have two Ergas branches in my family. How, if at all, they are related, is still a big mystery to me.
