I love to read and have been an avid book reader all my life. About the only thing I'm not inclined to read are romances. I much prefer to be surprised by the outcome.
My most cherished memory is when my brother and I lived with our paternal grandparents in North Hollywood. We lived walking distance from a library and I spent many, many happy hours there. When my grandmother couldn't find me across the street at my best girl friend's home, she knew where next to look.
