I actually made 2 of these. The first one is so big, I'll be
lucky if she wears it in 3 or 4 years! (I have such a hard
time discerning what size to make based on the
pattern information. Seems like they are all about
2 or more sizes larger than stated.
I really had fun with the embroidery on this,
pulling elements from several free designs I found. In
the case of the tree, I removed all the outlining and simplified
the tree and removed the apples. The flowers came from another
design, and they were originally part of another scene including a tree
and a shovel. I again removed the outlines and the actual flowers.
The bushes were elements taken from a third design. I just extracted them
and made them separate designs so I could place them where I wanted.
Finally, I used apple buttons for the apples and very tiny buttons
for the flowers..
