Friends

This bag wouldn't have come about if not for a special cyber friend, Loretta Adkins, who sent me a collection of blocks when my mother passed away on April 9, 2004. The pattern used to assemble the tote, came from another group, Susans1930sFabricSwaps. The remaining fabrics were strips from a charity project I participated in with my local quilting guild, Sunshine Quilters of San Diego.

I have decided to give this bag to another special friend, Shirley, who has been invaluable in helping me. With all she has on her plate, she took the time to be fingerprinted in order to be able to watch my granddaughter. Without her help, I would probably have not been able to make court and doctor appointements since CPS does not permit me to leave our granddaughter with someone who has not had a background check.
