Waldorf Salad

A family favorite, my mother was a purist when it came to her Waldorf Salad.

Ingredients

• red and green apples (all varieties work)
• celery
• chopped walnuts
• mayonaisse

Directions

• mix all ingredients together and serve chilled

How much of any one ingredient is a matter of personal taste. I try to make them about the same quantity -- if such a thing is possible.

You can turn this into an entree by adding left over roasted chicken.
